Babylonian artifact

The Babylonian "map of the world." It depict a "bird's-eye" view of the world and shows a flat, round world with the city of Babylon in the center. The text (on both sides of the tablet) shows that the map attempts to depict the entire world. The emphasis on distant places in the text accompanying the map indicates the likely purpose of the map was to locate and describe distant regions. Other textual sources describe the earthly ocean as being enclosed by a double range of mountains, those to the east and those to the west (the "sunrise" and "sunset" range, respectively).

  1. Babylonians are just a myth, you can not prove this, or the Babylonians ever existed.

  2. it doesnt matter what you believe, you still have to learn it, the historians who take part in our curriculum apparently do. so stop trying to impose your beliefs on people like the school system does to us, and learn about the Babylonians, test on the subject content, and move on with your life.

  4. The Babylonians are a myth brought up by Left wing Liberal Socialist communist. They think that if we believe in this false Babylonian mambojamba it will fix the economy. They don't want to admit it now but when it does happen they will be gasconading about it.This faux civilization is absurd and you should not believe anything about it. I know i may seem ebullient when i talk about this but i believe that we should stand up against these socialist but I am idiosyncratic and this is what i believe in.
